How an engagement works

01

Discovery call

30 minutes to understand your firm's workflow, software, peak-season pressures, and what you need. No pitch — just a conversation.

02

Scope & agreement

We confirm deliverables, turnaround SLAs, access protocols, and confidentiality terms in a signed engagement letter and NDA.

03

Onboarding

System access is set up, formatting preferences confirmed, and communication cadence agreed. Typical onboarding takes 48 hours.

04

Ongoing delivery

Work is completed, QC-reviewed, and returned to your team by the agreed deadline. Exceptions and queries are flagged proactively.

Questions CPA firm partners ask

Who is actually doing the work?

Every engagement is led by Dinesh Talreja, a Chartered Accountant with six years of US audit experience. Dinesh reviews all output before it is returned to your team. This is not a task-farm model — there is a named, qualified person accountable for every deliverable.

Do I need to disclose offshore use to my clients?

Under AICPA professional standards, firms should update engagement letters to disclose that third-party support is used for certain functions. We will provide suggested disclosure language when we set up your engagement. Final compliance responsibility remains with your firm's supervising CPA.

How do you handle data security and confidentiality?

We sign an NDA at the start of every engagement. All work is conducted within a Microsoft 365 environment with MFA enforced. Client files are stored in access-controlled SharePoint. Credentials are managed in a password manager — never shared by email or chat. We do not retain client data after an engagement ends.

What is the time-zone overlap with the US?

India Standard Time (IST) is UTC+5:30. This means 10+ hours of IST-EST overlap during US mornings. Typical workflow: your team briefs us at end of US day, we work overnight, and deliverables are in your inbox before your team starts the next morning.

Can we start with a trial engagement?

Yes. We can begin with a defined project — a single month-end close, a set of reconciliations, or audit support for one client — before committing to an ongoing retainer. Contact us to discuss a scoped trial.

What happens during your busy season?

We plan capacity around your peak periods at onboarding. If you need surge capacity beyond your retainer during tax season, we discuss that upfront and build it into your engagement structure.

Let's talk about your firm's workflow

30 minutes. No commitment. We will tell you honestly whether we are a fit — and if not, we will say so.
